Guide
Google Business Profile for bin cleaning companies

1. Set it up as a service-area business
You go to your customers, so Google treats you as a service-area business. Add the cities or ZIP codes you serve and hide your street address. Don't list a home address publicly. We removed one from a client's site and Google profile during their rebuild.
Don't use a virtual office or a mailbox as your address. Google can suspend profiles for that, and getting reinstated is slow.
2. Use your real business name
Use your business name exactly as it appears on your truck, your website and your paperwork. Adding keywords to the name ("Bin Bros Trash Can Cleaning Best in Dallas") breaks Google's rules and can get the profile suspended.
3. Pick the right categories
Google's category list changes and doesn't always have an exact match for bin cleaning. Search "trash can cleaning" in your city, open the top three map results, and see which categories they use. Pick the closest match as your primary category, and add related ones as secondary categories only if you actually offer those services.
4. Add services, prices and a booking link
- List each service: trash can cleaning, recycling bin cleaning, green waste bin cleaning, dumpster pad cleaning if you do it.
- Add your per-bin prices where Google lets you.
- Add your online booking link (your Jobatory sign-up page or your website's booking page) as the appointment link.
- Set your real hours.
5. Write a plain description
Say what you clean, where, how, and what it costs, in a few short sentences. Use the words customers search ("trash can cleaning", "garbage can cleaning") naturally. Skip the hype and keyword lists.
6. Upload real photos, often
Your truck or trailer, your crew in uniform, and before-and-afters of real carts. Add new ones every few weeks. Photos of your actual equipment and work build more trust than anything stock.

7. Get a review from every customer
- Ask right after the first cleaning, while the clean can is fresh.
- Send a direct review link by text. Put it on your website's thank-you page and footer too.
- Reply to every review, good or bad, briefly and by name.
- Never buy reviews, swap them, or write your own. Fresh Bins LA is at 5.0 stars with 82 reviews.
8. Connect it to a website with city pages
Your profile ranks better when your website backs it up: the same name, phone number and service areas, plus a page for each city. Read the website checklist.
